Getting Started

Hello students, welcome to Solid Mechanics II. This course is introduction to advanced solid mechanics topics including fracture, fatigue, and creep. Primary emphasis relates to metallic materials. Students will be challenged to develop both analytical and practical skills in fracture, fatigue, and creep. Emphasis will be placed using computational tools to solve problems.

This is a hybrid course. Students will learn by reading the book, attending in-person or live-streamed lectures, and completing assignments for each topic in the course. You will find all the course content (videos, lectures notes, examples) below.
